Welcome to the Royal British Legion Okehampton Branch.

The Royal British Legion Women's Section has been providing care and support to the ex-Service community for over 80 years. In the UK alone, it is estimated that 11 million people are eligible for support from the Legion, including ex-Service men and women, families and dependants - people of all ages and backgrounds with varying needs.

The Women's Section has over 1,300 Branches throughout the UK.

We welcome women of all ages, with or without a service connection.

The benefits of joining include a network of women in your local Community for social and other support, optional involvement with fundraising events and, most importantly, the knowledge that through your membership you are helping others in need.

We meet every third Monday ion the month at 2.30pm at the Royal British Legion Social Club premises, at 3 Station Road, Okehampton, when we regularly have lunches, interesting speakers, and other activities.


Membership is open to all women over 16 years of age including:

• Women in HM Forces
• Ex-Servicewomen
• The women dependants of past and present Servicemen and women
• Women who do not have a Service connection but support the aims of our organisation
